Who is Emmet, anyway?
Emmet is the name of our resident golem mascot. That's him in our logo (designed by Mary Robinette Kowal). Emmet's name derives from the Hebrew word emet, meaning "truth" (the funny looking red text at the bottom of our webpages): for more on this word and its connection to golems, see wikipedia.
How do I order Paper Golem books?
You'll find ordering information through the "Books" link. At this time our website accepts payment only via PayPal. Customers wishing to pay by other means will need to do so via other retailers, like Amazon.com.
Is Paper Golem accepting open submissions?
We are currently open for novella submissions (speculative fiction in the range of 20K to 40K words) for consideration in future issues of Alembical. Submissions should be sent as RTF attachments to:
